The Braxton Sisters hit the scene at the ESSENCE Festival yesterday to honor their sister Toni Braxton who was recognized at the McDonald’s 365Black Awards. Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson and NFL cornerback Charles Tillman were also honored.
Grammy Award winning artist Toni Braxton was the belle of the ball as she was honored at McDonald’s 365Black Awards ceremony held at the New Orleans Theater in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center during the 2016 ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans yesterday. And nope, her rumored new boo wasn't there for the big night.
All of her sisters –Tamar Braxton, Towanda Braxton, Traci Braxton, Trina Braxton—and her mother Mama Evelyncleared their schedules to celebrate and show their support.
Since leaving “The Real,” Tamar Braxton has been lying low, but she has been making her rounds at the festival since it kicked off. For last night’s event, the “Love And War” singer kept it cute in a white tuxedo mini dress and black strappy sandals. She’s currently working on her brand new talk show thanks to Steve Harvey.
As you can see, Toni was loved it and was standing up and cheering in the audience.
