I've become hooked on Net a Porter LIVE. It shows who is buying what and where in the world it's going. I introduced E to the joys of watching it for about twenty minutes and it was there we noticed something.
It seems Ireland is not the only country having a shitty summer. The amount of cardigans, coats, boots and other items designed to keep you warm which were flying off the shelves! Now I know it's winter in Australia and places like that, but a lot of European countries were snapping up pieces for AW in the middle of the summer!
It has been a truly awful summer. The weather has been shocking, we've had a handful of dry, summery days and the rest has been a complete wash out. I can only hope we get a better summer next year and that if we don't, I wont be around to see it!!!
Couple this with no one having any money, the festivals being too expensive and generally a feeling of despair in the air - its not a wonder people are buying cardigans now....
